Abstract：Sepsisisalife-threateningorgandyfunctioncausedbyadyregulatedhostresponsetoinfection，andcurrntlythereis still lacofefective therapies.Alcoholicliverdisease（AL）isthemostimportantcauseofdeathcausedbyalcoholinWestern countries，andsepsisisoneof the mostcommon complications andcausesof death inALD.This articlereviews theresearch advances inthe mechanismbywhichALDincreases thesusceptibilitytosepsis，inorder toprovideareferencefortheprevention and treatment of sepsis in ALD patients.
