Abstract：Transjugularintraepaticportosystemicshunt（TIS）iscurentlyanfectiveprocedureforthecomplicationsof portal hypertension.Inrecentyears，rapidprogresshasbeenmadeinthefieldofTPSintermsof technicalaproaches，prognostic models，andanexpandingrangeof indications.TheEASLrecentlyissuedtheclinical practiceguidelineson TIPSto comprehensivelyaddressallaspectsofTIPSinpatientswithlivercirrhosis.Thisarticlemakesanexcerptofthekey recommendations in the guidelines.
