Abstract：Since the18thNational Congressof theCommunistPartyofChina，Xi Jinpingataches great importance to water management work，combined withthenewjouneyand new tasks，clarifiedthe water managementideas，plannedriverstrategies， andconsidered water management work intheoveralldevelopment strategyof thePartyand thecountry.The water management ideasofMarxandEngels，thewatermanagementideasinteexcellenttraditionalcultureofteChinesenation，tecontiuousdevelopment of the water managementconeptsand experiences ofthe Communist PartyofChina，andthe inherentrequirementsof promoting people’swell-beingandachievinghigh-qualitydevelopmentinthenewjourneyprovidethecontextforXiJinping'simportantdiscourseonwater management.XiJinping'simportant discourseonwatermanagementinheritsanddevelops Marxistecologicaland naturalviews，providing action guidelines forwater management workandhigh-qualitydevelopmentinthenewera，nd contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to global water management.
