Abstract：Theriseofshortvideohas hadacertain impactontelevision media，and CCTV-9DocumentaryChannel'spractices towardssortvideos provideimportantinspirationandreferenceforotherdcumentarychannels.Utilizingmethodssuchasliteratureresearch，asestudyandsurveyesearch，thissdytakes CCV-9 Documentary Chaelastheseachjectosortoutnd summarizefourforces thatencourage televisiondocumentarymedia toembraceshortvideos.Italsosummarizestheindustrialpracticeof CCTV-9DocumentaryChaelinthefieldofshortvideos fromtheaspectsofcontent production，productdissmination， andbrandbuilding.Thestudypointsouthatinthefuture，CCTV-9DocumentaryChanelshouldstrengthenitspracticeinhefield of short videos from four aspects： brand， content， data，and technology.
