Design and Development of Light Air Spring for New Energy Vehicle

Abstract:Withtherapiddevelopmentofnewenergycommercialvehiclestowardlightweightandhighficiencytrends,tradition alairspringssufferfromproblemssuchasheavyweightandunsatisfactorydynamicperformance,whichrestricttheperformanceimprovementofsuspensionsystemsandenergyconservationofvehicles.Tosolvetheaboveproblems,thispaperconductsstructuraldesignandperformanceverificatonoflgtweightairsprings.Nylopistosaresedtoeplacetaditioalstelpistos,ndanaular ineravitydiversionchamberandorificeswithdiferentquantitiesareaddedtoachieveligtweightoptimzation.Finiteelemntaaly sis iscarriedoutviaSoliWorkssoftwaretoverifythestrengthoftepiston,andstaticanddynamiccharacteristictestsareperfoed ontheMTStestplatform.Theresultssowthattedesignedlightweightairspringsucessfullachieves thelightweighttarget,meets thestrengthrquirementsunderatedload,andeibitsexcelenttaticanddynamicmechanicalpropertiesasellasigheliability. Thisstudycanprovidetheoreticalreferenceandexperimentalbasisfortheoptimaldesignandengineeingapplicationoflightweightair suspensions for new energy commercial vehicles.
