Abstract：This papersystematicallreviews thedevelopmentprocessofthenationalstandards forsynthetic trackandfield surfacesinChina.Thepaperdiscusss theevolutionofitemsettingofnationalstandardsatdiferenttimessincetherelease ofthefirstrubbersportstrackstandard（GB/T14833-1993）in1993，andanalyzesthesystemcharacteristicsofthecurent nationalstandards.Itdiscussestheaspects thatarenotconsideredinthecurrentnationalstandards，andputsforwardsome suggestions forthefuturerevisionofthenationalstandards，inordertoprovidereferencefortheimprovementofnational standards.
