Standardization Empowers the Protection and Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage-Taking the Terminology Standards of the Traditional Package （Nangxia） as an Example

Abstract：The protectionand inheritanceof intangiblecultural heritageisanimportant way for inheriting Chinese cultureand strengthening the national cultural confidence.Standardization，asanimportant meansof modern social governance，provides an effective protection path for the scientificand standardized protectionof intangiblecultural heritage byestablishing the best order and common norms.This paper explores the fundamentalrole of terminology standardizationintheprotectionofintangibleculturalheritage，takingthestandard，Terminology—TraditionalPackage， ledbythePalace Museumasanexample.The paperanalyzes thetraditionalpackageasarepresentativecaseofintangible culturalheritageskillsndcombinestheurrntinstitutionalbackground，practicaldifcultesandiovativepathsof standardizationconstructionof intangibleculturalheritage.It is proposed thatterminology standardsarenotonly the carriersofskillinheritance，butalsothekeytoolsforpromotingsystematicprotectionofintangibleculturalhritageand cross-disciplinarycollaboration.Terminologystandardization helps tostandardizeandunifytheexpressions inthe field ofintangible cultural heritage，enhancing the professionalism and sustainability of protection efforts.
