Abstract：International standards playapivotalrolein the transformationof international governance system，the advancementof the new industrialrevolution，and the reconstructionof international traderules.Geological survey standards area vitalpartofthe natural resource standards system.However，the international standardizationof geological survey in Chinaremains inits initial stage.This paper meticulously sorts outthedevelopment statusof international standardsof geologicalsurvey，comprehensivelysummarizes the progresof international standardization of geological surveyin China，andconductsanin-depth analysisoftheexistingproblemsand shortcomings.The issues includelowparticipationininternational standardizationactivities，arelativelysmall quantityofstandards，andalow degree ofcompatibility with international standards.Inresponse，aseries of practical and feasiblesuggestions are proposed：leveraging the technicalframeworkof internationalstandardizationorganizations to expand theimplementation pathsof international standardizationof geologicalsurvey;intensifying thecultivationofinternationalstandardization professionals tooferrobust talent support for industrydevelopment;selecting the technical standards in China's advantageousgeologicalsurveyareasandactivelyfacilitatingtheirconversionintointernationalstandards;scientifically assesing international geological survey standards，promptlyadopting them，and promoting thealignmentof China's

geologicalsurveystandards with internationalcounterparts.Thesemeasuresaim toenhance the internationalinfluenceof China's geological survey standards.
