The Impact of Food Additives on Food Quality and Safety and Countermeasures

Abstract: This paper analyzes the dual efects of food additives on food quality and safety. According to the analysis,the rational use of aditives can effectively prevent corrosion and preserve foodand improve food quality, but some additives have potential safety hazards,and abuse or excessive use may afect human health. Based on this, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions such as dynamically updating the use standards, improving the regulatory system,strengthening the awarenessofcorporate responsibility,and strengthening consumer education, aiming to balance the safety and functionality offood additives and provide guarante for food quality and safety.
