Improved QuEChERS Technology Using Carbon Nanotubes for Gas Chromatography Detection of Five Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables

Abstract: Objective: To establish a QuEChERS technique based on multi-waled carbon nanotubes and combined with gas chromatography for detecting residues of five pesticides, namely oxytetracycline, methyl parathion,chlorpyrifos,azithromycin,and triazophos,in fruits and vegetables.Method: Multi walled carbon nanotubes were used as solid phase extractant,and the QuEChERS pretreatment technology was improved, including optimizing the extraction method, extraction solvent, eluent, and dosage of multi walled carbon nanotubes. Gas chromatography was used to quantitatively determine five pesticide residues.Result: The five pesticides showed a good linear correlation between 0.01mg-L-1 and 0.20mg-L-1 ,with a correlation coefficient of ⩾ 0.999 0 The detection limit was between 2.25×10-3mg.kg-1 and 1.76×10-2mg⋅kg-1 , and the spiked recovery rate was 79.3% to 99.5% ; the relative standard deviation is 0.4% to 3.9% .Conclusion: This method has simple sample pretreatment, short analysis time,highaccuracyandsensitivity,and can be used forrapid and accurate detection offive pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables,providing reliable technical supportfor ensuring the qualityand safetyofagricultural products.
