Abstract:The traditional approachof staticallyconfiguringasinglecongestioncontrolalgorithmcannolongeradapttothedynamic changes in networksacrosstimeandregions,the dynamicswitching mechanism for congestion control algorithmshas drawnwiespreadatentionfromtheindustry.Toaddressissues suchaslownetwork detectionaccuracyand transmisionperformance fluctuations during dynamic switching,this paper studied the dynamic switching mechanismforcongestioncontrol algorithms basedon QUIC inthe wired network scenario.This mechanismfirstlyintroducedthereceiverbuferfactortoenhance thealgorithm’sadaptabilitytodiferentconfigurationsof thereeivingend.Secondly,itestablishedabotlenecklinkbufer detectionmodelbasedonBBRtoimprovethedetectionaccuracyofnetwork conditions.Finally,itrealizedthesmothswitching between BBRand CUBIC toachievea balance betweenperformanceimprovementand stabilityduring theswitching process.Experimental results demonstrate that this mechanism achieves a throughput gain coverage rate of 78%~87% in shallow bottleneck link buffer scenarios and 89%~95% in deep bottleneck link buffer scenarios.Compared with traditional modeling-basedalgorithms,thismechanismsignificantlyimproves thebandwidthutilizationinwirednetwork scenariosand shows good stability in both throughput and round-trip delay dimensions.
