Research on the Integrated Development of Productive Service Industries （Logistics） and ManufacturingUnder the Digital Economy

Abstract： [Purposes] This study aims to explore the mechanism of integrated development between the logistics industry and the manufacturing industry under the conditions of the digital economy，as well as its empowering effect on the national economy.[Methods] Based on the input-output model，this research constructs an industrial correlation coefficients between the logistics industry and the manufacturing industry.A coupling coordination evaluation model between the digital economy and the two industries is established to systematically analyze their integrationand evolution patterns.[Findings] The empirical results show that the interaction between the two industries exhibits a significant non-equilibrium state.The response degreecoefficientof the logistics industry is greater than1，fully confirming its essential role as a fundamental support of the national economy.Various sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry show strong influence coefficients，highlighting their dominant role in driving economic growth. Driven by the digital economy，the level of coordination between the two industries has achieved leapfrog improvement.The coupling coordination grade has progressed from "severe imbalance" through "marginal imbalance" to "good coordination"，completing a phased leap from "imbalance-transitioncoordination".[Conclusions] The study proposes that technological empowerment should serve as the core driving force to accelerate the upgrading of both industries.Collaborative innovation should be adopted as a pathway to enhance the logistics industry and innovate production organization models in manufacturing. Platform construction should be regarded as a key support to promote the integrated development of cross-industry information interaction platforms and industrial innovation platforms.
