Teaching reform and practice of the Career Planning for college studentsat agricultural universities

AbstractTocultivate interdisciplinaryagricultural talents inthenew era,thecurrent status of curriculum constructionforcolege students’carerplanninginundergraduateinstitutionsofagriculturalscienceswasanalyzedand measures for the reform of this curriculum were proposed.Some institutions have shortcomings in aspects such as the constructionof modular curriculum content，thedynamic update of curriculum content,the integrationof carer education,and the cultivation of“dual-qualified”teachers.Based on this,thispaper proposesa seriesof reform measures,including:constructing modularized course content and strengthening agricultural-specific assessment dimensions forself-awareness and environmental analysis modules; establishing acourse system to create a professonal education-careerawareness-industrial practicemodel,，integrating professional courses intocareer modules，and implementing the“three teachers in theclasroom”approach; innovating teaching methods that combine virtual and real-world elements,suchas virtual simulationsandon-siteagriculturalpractice;andbuildingafaculty team.Practice has shown that students’career goal orientation and employment/entrepreneurship quality have improved,with a 91.67% placementrate and a 41.05% graduatde enrollment rate for the 2O24 graduating class of the Agricultural College,and 43.75% of the 15 entrepreneurial students are involved in agriculture-related fields.Through these reforms,students' initiativeandgoalorientation havebeenenhanced,and their enthusiasm for serving modernagriculture hasbeen stimulated.This paper provides a reference for similar curriculum reforms in agricultural universities.
