Application of modern seedling technology in forestry production

AbstractForest seedling cultivation，asan important component of forest resources，provided strong technical support for forestry production.The current status of forest seedling cultivation was summarized，and the applicationof modernseedling technologies inforestryproduction wasanalyzed，whiletheaspects need tobeimproved initspractical promotion and application were indicated with corresponding countermeasures proposed.Traditional sowing and cutting techniques were predominantlyused in currentforest seedling cultivation，where quality instabilityand low effciency wereobserved.Itwassuggestedthatscientificinvestmentshouldbestrengthened，andnew technologiessuchas grafting andtissue culture should be promoted to advance the standardization and eficiency of the forestry seedling ndustry. Regarding modern seedling technologies，soillesscultivation was found to precisely regulate water and fertilizer usage， improving survival rates；container seedling cultivation facilitated managementandenhanced transplanting survival rates;and biotechnology was shown to improve stress resistance，with tissue culture enabling rapid propagationof high qualityseedlings.However，these newtechnologiesfacedchallenges intechnical adaptabilityprofessonal training，and financial supportduring promotion.Basedon these findings，countermeasures were proposed，including strengthening technicalresearch andadaptability studies，establishingdemonstration zones，intensifying training eforts，improving technical servicesystems，，expanding investment channels，and seting up special funds with increased subsidy standards.This study providesreferences for further promoting the development andapplication of modern forest seedling technologies.
