Integrated Control Technologies for Sweet Potato Diseases and Insect Pests

Abstract: To effectively control diseases and insect pests in sweet potato, variety comparison trials and pesticide screening experiments were conducted.The results of the variety comparison trials showed that‘Xigua Hong’and‘Jishu 26’exhibited vigorous growth,strong resistance to major diseases and pests,high yields,and a fine,sweet flavor. These characteristics make them suitable for large - scale demonstration and promotion in the Xi'an region. Pesticide screening results indicated that applying 1 kg per 667 m2 of Beauveria bassiana in the field achieved over 70% control efficacy against underground pests. This biocontrol agent is non - toxic, odorless,and environmentally safe,with a sustained infection capacity,allowing infected pests to continuously transmit the pathogen to others.

甘薯,又名红薯,其含有大量淀粉、糖、蛋白质、脂肪、多种维生素及钙、磷、铁等无机盐类,营养丰富,高产稳产、用途广泛,不仅是粮食作物,又是工业原料和饲料作物。(剩余4183字)
