Effects of Different Ratios of Organic Fertilizer and Chemical Fertilizer as Base Fertilizers on Potato Yield and Quality

Abstract: This study evaluated the effcts of various combinations of organic and chemical fertilizers applied as base fertilizers on potato yield and quality,using 8O kg/667 m2 of chemical fertilizer as the control. Four treatments were established: T1 (7O kg/667 m² chemical fertilizer + 100 kg/667 m² organic fertilizer),T2(60 kg/667 m2 chemical fertilizer + 120 kg/667 m² organic fertilizer),T3 (50 kg/667 m² chemical fertilizer +140 (20 kg/667 m² organic fertilizer),and T4 (40 kg/667 m² chemical fertilizer + 160 kg/667 m² organic fertilizer) . The results showed that as the chemical fertilizer content decreased and organic fertilizer content increased,agronomicand yield-related traits initiallyimprovedand thendeclinedcomparedwiththecontrol.Amongall treatments,Tl exhibited significant increases in main stem number,tuber number per plant,tuber weight per plant, commercial yield rate,and plotyield,with increasesof 10.45% , 9.26% , 13.11% , 7.36% ,and 13.72% , respectively.In termsof quality,all treatmentsdemonstrated significantlyhigherdrymater content,starch content,andcrude protein content than the control,while vitamin C(VC)content and reducing sugar content showed no significant diferences.These findings suggest that moderately reducing chemical fertilizer while increasing organic fertilizer in base fertilizer application can efectively improve potato agronomic characteristics, yield performance,and qualitytraits,thereby achieving the goal of reduced fertilizer use and increased effcien
