Effectsof Different Pollination Treatments on the Fruit Quality of QinCiu Apples

Abstract::In this study,5 -year-old QinCiu apples were used as test materials.Four treatments,including natural pollination (CK),self-pollination,pollination by Xueqiu,and pollination by Hongshaobing,were set upduring the flowering period toexplore theeffectsof diffrent pollination treatments onthe fruit quality of QinCiu apples.The results showed that the fruit seting rate was the highest under the treatment of pollnation by Hongshaobing. There were no significant diferences in fruit shape index and fruit shape deviation rate among different treatments.The content of soluble solids was the highest under thenatural polination treatment,and the aciditywas the highest under theartificial pollination treatment by Xueqiu.There were no significant differences in single fruit weight and peeled hardness among diferent treatments.There were also no significant differences in the number of seeds among different treatments.Theself-pollnationabilityof QinCiu apples is relatively strong,andtheycanefectivelybear fruits without configuring pollination trees.However,the fruit setting is better when configuring Hongshaobing as the pollination tree. In production management,,the choice can be made according to actual needs.
