Abstract：Postoperative kinesiophobia in lumbar disc herniation （LDH） is a psychologically complex disorder withhigh clinical incidence，which severely impacting postoperativerecoveryandqualityoflife.Thisarticle synthesizes thecurrent understanding of the etiologyand pathogenesisof postoperative kinesiophobia inLDHand examines the application status of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）therapeutic techniques in itsmanagement.It furtheranalyzes the clinical advantages of TCM techniques in alleviating this condition，discusses existing research limitations，and proposes future directions for clinical practice and guide subsequent research.
