Introduction of ZHOU Yingchun's Experience in Treating Hidrosis Syndrome with Danggui Liuhuang Decoction

Abstract：This article introduces Professor ZHOU Yingchun's clinical experience in treating hidrosis syndrome withDanggui Liuhuang Decoction.Thecoreof hisapproach lies intranscending the traditional limitations of the yin deficiencywith hyperactivityoffire syndrome.Professor ZHOU believes that the essenceof Danggui Liuhuang Decoction is to "clear fire，nourish yin，strengthenthe spleen，and harmonize yin and yang." Through flexible modifications， this prescription hasshown significant curative efect in treatingcomplex casesof hidrosissyndrome，including yin deficiency and fire heat syndrome and intermingledcoldand heat.Acritical aspectof Professor ZHOU'sapproach is his deep exploration of the doubled use of Astragali Radix in the prescription.He points outthat Astragali Radix not only boosts qi to consolidatethe exterior but also embodies the method of relieving fever with sweet-warm medicinals.By fortifying the spleen，tonifying deficiency，consolidating the exteriorand arestingsweating，this approach provides an important strategy for treating hidrosis syndrome caused by spleen deficiencyand deficiency fire floating upward.
