Clinical Study on Treatment of Acne of Damp-Heat Accumulation Type with Bloodletting Cupping Combined with Compound Huangboye Liniment and Doxycycline

Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical efficacy of bloodleting cupping combined with Compound Huangboye Liniment and Doxycycline in treating acne of damp-heat accumulation type.Methods：A total of 70 patients with acne of damp-heat accumulation type who visited the outpatient department of Wuhu Hospital of Chinese Medicine from April to December 2O24 were divided into an observation group anda control group，with 35 cases in each group，using a random number table method.The control group was treated with Doxycycline，while theobservation group received bloodletting cupping and Compound Huangboye Liniment therapy inaddition to the treatmentof the control group.Clinical efcacy，traditional Chinese medicinesyndrome scores，Dermatology Life Quality Index（DLQI） scores，and serum inflammatory factors [tumor necrosis factor -α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6)]werecomparedbetween the two groups.Results:After treatment，the total efectiverate inthe observation group was 94.29% （33/35），higher than that in the control group at 77.14% （27/35），with a statistically significant difference between the two groups( P
