Introduction of Yl Wei's Experience in Treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with JIN's Three-Needle Method for Regulating Spirit and Qi

Abstract：Chronic fatigue syndrome is a clinical syndrome characterized by profound fatigue，often accompanied by mentaland physicalabnormalities.ProfessorYIWeibelieves thatthe primaryorgans involvedinthisconditionare the liver，splen，and kidney，with the main pathogenesis being the dysfunctionofqiand blood，yinand yang，and the visceraand bowels.Intreatment，itis essential tofocuson thechanges in the spiritandqiof the liver，spleen，and kidney，emphasizing theregulationofbothspiritandqi.Clinicaly，themainapplication isJIN's Three-Needle method，selecting primary points such as four shen needles，four gates[Hegu（LI4），Taichong （LV3），hand mental triple needes [Neiguan（PC6），Shenmen（HT7），Laogong（PC8）]，and spirit stabilizing points [0.5cun above Yintang （EX-HN3），0.5 cun above bilateral Yangbai（GB14）.Aditionall，points are selected based on viscera and bowel syndrome differentiation：for liver stagnation，points like Danzhong（RN17）andQimen（LV14）arecommonly chosen；for spleen deficiency，pointslike Zusanli（ST36）and Sanyinjiao（SP6）are selected；for kidney deficiency， points like Shenshu（BL23），Guanyuan（RN4），and Sanyinjiao（SP6）are used.The treatment is also combined with umbilicalacupuncture.Through the methodof regulating spiritandqi，the treatmentaims to sothethe liver toraise yangqi，strengthen the spleen to elevate clear yang，and nourish the kidney toconsolidate the rot essence，thereby achievingtheregulationof visceraandbowels，balanceof yinandyang，andrecovery fromdeficiencyanddepletion.
