Introduction of DENG Gaopi's Experience in Treating Ovulatory Disorder Infertility Using Fruit and Seed Category Herbs

Abstract：This article introduces Professor DENG Gaopi's clinical experience in treating ovulatory disorder infertility（ODI）usingfruit and seedcategory herbs.Professor DENG posits that kidney deficiency coupled with uterine collateralobstructionconstitutes thecorepathogenesis ofODI.Heemphasizes that promoting follcular growth is pivotal indiagnosis and treatment.Clinically，he skilfully employs fruit and seed herbs，which are mainly characterized by their mild，neutral natureand inherentvitality，leveragingtheir actions of promoting growthand ascent，moistening descent，and unblocking stagnation and disipating masses.Through stage-specific treatment aligned with the menstrual cycle，he applies regulated unblocking and supplementing methods to achieve the ultimate goalof yin-yang harmony leading to conception.
