Clinical Study on Adjuvant Treatment of Qingxuan Huadu Decoction for Viral Pneumonia

Abstract:Objective：To observe the curative effect of Qingxuan Huadu Decoction as an adjuvant treatment on viral pneumoniaand its effctson the levels ofblood gasparameters and inflammatory factors.Methods:A total of 78cases of patients with viral pneumonia admited to Zhoushan City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to September 2O23 were selected and divided into the observation group andthe control group according to therandom number table method，with 39 cases in each group.Both groups were given comprehensive western medical treatment，with the control groupreceiving Oseltamivir，and theobservation group wasadditionally treated with Qingxuan Huadu Decoction based onthe treatmentof thecontrol group.Both groups were treated forseven days.Clinical effcts and symptomrecoverywerecompared between the two groups；thelevelsof blood gas parameters [arterial blood pH ，partial pressure of oxygen ( PaO2 ），partial pressure of carbon dioxide ( PaCO2 )]，and inflammatory markers [interleukin (IL) -1β ，IL-6，heparin-binding protein（HBP），procalcitonin （PCT)] were compared before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 92.30% （36/39）in the observation group，higher than that of
