Abstract：The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is driving the constructionof a new regional synergy，and Guizhou is accelerating its own high-quality growth by actively integrating into this process. With itsrich natural and cultural resources，Rongjiang has become a key node connecting Southwest China with theGreater Bay Area.Supported byitsindustrial advantages，location advantages and resource endowments， Rongjiangaims to become adirect supply of high-quality agricultural products to Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao，abase for recreationaland healthcare tourism，adistributioncentre for touristsand anagglomera tion area for undertaking industrial transfers，thus giving full play to its “bridgehead”role.This paper analysestheroleof Rongjiangasa“bridgehead”.This paperanalyses themeaning and objectivesof Rongjiang' s"bridgehead"positioning，discusses Rongjiang's development resources and strategic advantages on this basis，summarizes the current progress and challenges，and explores its development path.
