Abstract：This paper combines the experienceof participating inthe revision of GB/T 503792018， Standard for quality managementof geotechnical investigation enterprises，to briefly interpret the background and main content ofthe revised standard.Itelaborates onthe applicable scope ofthe standard，supplements theaddedcontent ofthe international standard ISO 900l：2015， Quality management system-Requirements， and the main content of the revision.Combined withthecharacteristicsof theengineering investigationindustry，itenhances theapplicabilityand operablity of the standardrequirements， making the standardmore industry-specific，professional，andlocalized.This is to help users better understand and promote the constructionand application of the quality managementsystemof enterprises inthe enginering construction investigation industry，improve the levelof management，and boostthe high-quality development of the geotechnical investigation industry.
