Abstract：Safetyshoesareakindof shoes with specialsafetyprotectionfunction，whichcanprotect the wearersfeet from damage.Under the background ofthenewera， with thecontinuous development of society，the demand for safety shoes is increasing，and the standard of safety shoesalsochanges accordingly.Theold version EN ISO 20345：2021， Personal protective equipment—safety footwear， is updated to EN ISO 20345：2022， Personal protective equipment safety footwear，and thestandard of safety shoes is more comprehensive and strict.Based onthis，this paper will take thenew eraasthebackground，analyze thechangesof theoldand new safety shoe standards，and explore the developmenttrendof the safety shoe industry inthetwoaspects of standards andmarket， inorder toprovide valuable reference for relevant personnel.
