Exploration on the teaching mode of intelligent injection molding simulation training based on CAE simulation

Abstract: In order to improve students’ ability of mold professonal technology application, basing on the working process and working environment of injection molding enterprises, using the teaching method of combining virtual with reality, the task oriented training teaching mode planning of injection molding with a handle coffee cup is explored. The four modules of CAD parting design, CAE simulation analysis, simulation operation of virtual injection molding machine and injection practice of micro intelligent injection molding machine equipped with pick-up manipulator are integrated together. The complete production process from 3D model to real object is completed. Guide students to immerse themselves in the working process, the students’ enthusiasm for autonomous learning and exploration is stimulated, the students’ experience in mold expertise and production process is obtained,the integrity and systematicness of injection mold knowledge system are constructed, the teaching effect is effectively improved,and the goal of training new engineering talents with cross fusion engineering ability is realized.
