Abstract: The high-definition display of the head-up display(HUD) relies on the machining accuracy of the mirror mold of the curved display cover. The conventional three-axis milling process based on common polycrystalline diamond(PCD) grinding is insufficient to ensure the machining quality of mirror molds. In this paper,a five-axis fixed-point machining technology for mirror mold is proposed,which uses the position cutting of the remote center static point to improve the linear speed of the actual cuttng of the tool and effectively improve the surface quality.
