Abstract: In order to control the transmission error of cylindrical helical gear structure,a study was conducted on the machining process of cylindrical helical gear based on geometric parameter optimization. Based on the factor level coding results, the quadratic term centralization processing of gear design parameters is implemented,and then combined with regression coeficient equations to achieve cylindrical helical gear structure modeling based on geometric parameter optimization. Within the contact area, the necessary conjugate contact conditions are obtained by transforming the tooth surface meshing coordinate system,thereby completing the machining design of the cylindrical helical gear structure. The experimental results show that under the influence of geometric parameter optimization algorithms,as the position of the transverse and longitudinal cylindrical wheel axles changes,the transmission amplitude exhibited by each tooth plate cannot be completely equal to the ideal value,but the difference level is relatively small,which meets the practical application requirements of effectively controlling the transmission error of cylindrical helical gear structures.
