Abstract:WalterBenjaminhasarguedthat mechanicalreproductiondeprivesartworksof theirAura.However,inviewof the dramatic changeintestatus and popularityofimages,itis necessry tore-examiethisissue.Georges Didi-Hubermanadopts AuratheorytointerpretworksofartsuchasMinimalism,takingdoubledistanceanddoublevisionasthetwobasicconditionsforconstructingAura.ThefimBarakausesunfamiliarimages,fragmentaryeditingndweakenednarativetodistancetheimagesfrom theaudienceandcompletesthesubjectobjectransformationwithtehlpofgaze,whichsuccessfullyinducesteadience’sunconscious memoryTus,the worksregainitsimmediacyandoriginalityrevealingitsAura.Troughthisguidedmeditationtedirectortries toexplaintotheaudiencetheultimateof teuniverse.However,thecommodificationand Westeideologyhave diminished its Aura, forming a paradox of the image.
