Abstract：Basedonthecorporate socialresponsibility（CSR）reportsofeightdomesticandforeignenergycompanies in2021， this paperemploysafive-dimensionalmodelframeworkforbusiness tanslationresearchfromtheperspectiveofcrical geneanalysis，usingacombiedqualitativeandquantitativeresearchmethod，toanalzethetranslationpractices inChina’senergycompanies’CSRreports.The studyfindsthattherearesignificant diferences intheuseofdiscursiveintealresourcessuchasvocabularyand syntax，aswellasexteral disursiveresourceenvironments，betwn Chineseand AmericanenergycompaniesCRreports.Influenedbythe macroenvironmentandpolicyleveltowardsgreen，low-cabondevelopment，ndthepracticeofevironmental protectionconcepts，theCSRreportsofChineseenergycompaniesareaffected bythreetypesofextemaldiscursiveresources：profesalpractisprofessoalulrendociallureicintifeeteirintealsusioe translationpractices.Thisstudysuggeststhattoreducethedifferences inCSRreporttranslationpracticesbetween Chineseand Americaneergyompaies，stategiessuchaseletio，ddition，ubstitutio，andorganzatioofelements itntedtatio translation method can be used to guide the translation process of energy companies’CSR reports.
