Data Governance in Large-Scale Sports Events in China in Era of Big Data

Abstract：Intheeraof big data，the digital transformation of major sporting events in Chinais faced with data govenance chalenges，includingsevere“datasilos”andescalatingdatascurityconcers.Toovercometheseissues，itisimperativeto establish astandardized，secure and eficient data governance system.This studyadopts literaturereview，caseanalysis nd logicalreasoning to examine theunderlyinglogicof data governance inthis context，identify existing chalengesand propose practical pathways forward.The analysis reveals three primary categories of obstacles：foundational deficiencies， suchasoutdatedtechnologicalinfrastructure，lackofintegratedplatforms，andlimitedapplicationscenarios；systemic inadequacies，includingvague strategicplanning，bsenceofunifiedstandards，ndasortageof talents;andinstitutional weaknesses，suchasuncleardata ownership，insuficientsecuritysafeguardsand inadequatecoordination.Accordingly，this studyputs forward governance strategies ：to optimize systems，integrate platforms and expand appication scenarios so as to solidifythe foundationofdatagovernance infrastructurefrommultipledimensions;toformulate strategicplans，standardize governance protocols and cultivate talents soas toconstruct adata governance system at multiple levels;and toclarifydata ownership and benefit distribution，ensure data security and promote data sharing soas to improve thedata governance mechanism in multiple manners.
