Design and Stability Check of High-Platform Support for Composite PrefabricatedI-Steel-BeamTrackGirder

Abstract: [Purposes] Aiming at the problems of low material utilization rate and high steel consumption in traditional track girders,a new composite prefabricated I-steel-beam track girder structure was developed to enhance its economy and stability.[Methods] Based on Midas finite element software,using a dual-control index combining bending compressive stress and average shear stress,and referring to relevant codes,the local stabilityof the web,the bearing capacity of the support stiffeners,and the end-face strength were systematicaly analyzed.[Findings] The safety factors for local web stability reached 1.82 (bending) and 2.44 (shear); the actual stress in the support stiffeners was only 28.2% of the critical value; steel consumption was reduced by 23.4% ,and the component standardization rate increased to 92.5% [Conclusions] The proposed structure significantly improves material utilization effciency and provides a new track girder solution combining economy and reliability for bridge engineering. Future work could optimize its long-term performance under complex loading conditions.
