Research on Resonance Suppression and Harmonic Control Scheme for High-speed Railway Traction Network

Abstract:[Purposes] To address the issues of resonance and harmonic current amplification caused by using a single passive filter for harmonic control in high-speed railway traction networks,and to further improve the effectiveness of harmonic suppression,a collaborative harmonic control scheme combining a passive power filter (PPF) and an active power filter (APF) is proposed.[Methods] Based on practical conditions, starting from the equipment composition of the high-speed railway traction power supply systemto the establishment of a harmonic transmission model for the traction network,this paper briefly explains the complex mechanism of harmonic transmission. Combined with literature analysis,it provides a detailed comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of existing harmonic control strategies for highspeed railway traction networks,thereby supporting the scheme design.[Findings] A model was constructed according to the harmonic characteristics and transmission features of the high-speed railway traction network,and the effectiveness of the hybrid filtering scheme was verified through simulation analysis.[Conclusions] This scheme can effectively suppresssystem resonance while achieving efficient harmonic control in the high-speed railway traction network.
