AbstractNightieligtisampoantefereceidicatorforteeoomicdevelopntlevelofegioandisosideredsagodidicatorofGDPsubstutiHoweereissiletrovesyethbsttiraleasInpretsd， nalysis modelwasconstructedbasedotheGDPandnightielightsof56countiesand235townshipsfromGuangdongProvince.Theesults showedthathereasasignificantpowerfunctionrelatiospetweeGDandnighieligtsathoutyandowlvels，indicatigat nighttimelighthasgoodsubstituteforGDPvaluesinruralareas.1127townsofGuangdongProvincewereevaluatedandrankedbasedon nigttielightsdompedtiettossaioItisndatttosiasifdt mized.According totheprincipleof“concentratingresourcesandhelpingthepoorandtheweak”，suggestionshavebenputforwardtore ducethecovergeofistanc，ptietowshiassfatioiglightplgadients，gularlrackandevauatenddialyd justment.
