AbstractInoder tosrenouthigqualityElaeaguangusifoliaprovenancssuitableforplantiginNorthwestChina,2Elegun gustifoliaproveaesfrodieetsosereedsexpeetalatealesedmorpologicalcaracteristisndsdiggowth indicatorsweremeasudandthecomprehensiveanalysismethdwasusedtoevauatetheElaeagusangustfliafromdierentproveance. TheresultsshowedtatthesdmorphologicalcharacteristsandsdinggowthinicatorsofEleagusangustfolifrodfrntprov nances were significantly different ( P<0.01 ). The seed length,seed width and 1 Ooo-grain weight of P5 were the largest,the cumulative growthseedlinghightofP2wasthelargest,ndtecumulativegrowthgrounddameterofP3wasthelargest.Tereweretogrowthpeaks intheheightandgoundameterofEleagusangustifoliasdingsfrodferentprovenances,othsowingagrothtrendf“slowfast slow-fast-slow”,and the Logistic fiting equations all reached an extremely significant level ( P<0.01 ).Seedling height showedasignificant positive correlation with ground diameter ( P<0.01 ),and seed length,seed width,and 1 OOo-grain weight all showed a significant positive correlation ( P<0.01 ).The comprehensive analysis offuzzy mathematical membership function showed thatP5 hadthe highest comprehensive scoreandcouldbeuedastepreferrdprovenanceforscrenngnwvaretsofElaeagusangustifolia,folowedby3andPich could be used as alternative provenances.
