The regulatory mechanism of the Wx gene and its allelic variations in glutinous rice on amylose content has been deeply analyzed,molecularmarkeraisteddhlssantlyrovdecofproeentaloteolocalssu asCRISR-Cas9hveshowgreatpotetialinimprovingthraitsofglutiousriceIntesfaplicatioevalueof glutiousiceinthe foodndustry,tebrewingindustryandthdevelopmentoffunctioalfodsisincreasinglyprominent.Futureresearchshouldfocsontheindepthexplorflutiousicegplasesos,tlboatiprovetofultipletraits,ndveloptofdeficient production technologies.
