Abstract：Themeridianshavethefunctionsofbindingthebonesandfacilitating thejoints.Thisarticlebrieflysummariesthe theoryofmerdiansintheoccrence，diagnosis，reatmentandpreventionofkneeosteoarthitisTheneeisthehouseof tendons. Theocurrenceofkneeosteoarthritisisnotonlyelatedtothelocalmeridianlesionsofthekneejoint，butalsocloselyrelatedtothe meridianlesionsofthehipandankle.Thediagnosisofmeridians mainlyreliesopalpation，andultrasoundcanalsobeusedtoassist inpositioning tofidthelesionpointsandpositivereactionpointsofthemeridians，andthenprovidemeridianmanipulation，meridian acupunctureandneedeknifetreatmentatthelesionpointsandpositivereactionpoints torlieveadhesionsandrelaxthemeridians. Thepreventionofkneeosteoarthritiscanbecariedoutfrom twoaspcts：changinglivinghabitsandexercisingthequadricepsfemris， inordertoachievethepurposeofhalthpreservationanddiseaseprevention，healthpreservationbeforeiless，arlyintervetionbefore the onset of disease，and prevention of disease progression after illness.
