Abstract:Objective Tocompare theantithrombotic efects of two kindsof Xuesaitong soft capsuleand Panax notoginseng powder.Methods Male ICR mice were randomly divided into 8 groups: vehicle,positive controls including 20 mg/kg of ASP, 1.0g/kg and 0.5g/kg of Panax notoginseng powder, 100mg/kg and 50 mg/kg of Luotai, 80mg/kg and 40 mg/kg of Lixuwang;The antithromboticfectsoftwoindsofXuesatongsoftcapsulesandPanaxnotognsengpowderwerecomparedthoughcarrageenaduced micetailthrombusmodel,electricstimulationofcarotidarterythrombusmodel,adenosinediphosphate(ADP-2Na)iducedacute pulmonarythrombusmodelandcollgene-adrenalintrombusmodelResultsInthecarrgeean-inducedcudal thrombusmodel, all administration groups had significant inhibitory effects on the formation of caudal thrombus( P<0.01 ).However,Panax notoginseng powder had no significant effect onthe prolongation ofcarotid artery thrombosis induced byelectricalstimulation ( P>0.05 ),and the prolongation rates of the two Xuesaitong soft capsules were all greater than 100% ,and the effect was significant ( P<0.05 ).In thecollgen-adrenegineiducedthrombosismodel,thesurvivalratesoficeinLuotaiandLiuwanggroupswereallgeateran (204 50% ,and the effect was significant ( P<0.01 or P<0.05 ),while the survival rate of mice in Panax notoginseng powder group was only 25% ,the effect was not obvious ( P>0.05 ).In the ADP -2 Na-induced acute pulmonary thrombosis model,the Luotai high dose group had the best protective effect,and the survival rate was 70.6% ( P<0.01 ),while the effect of Panax notoginseng powder powder was not significant ( P>0.05 ).Conclusion Both Xuesaitong soft capsules and Panax notoginseng powder had antithrombotic effects,and the former was slightly better than the latter.
