[Abstract]Objective:To investigate the effect of Fluoxetine combined with biofeedback therapy in the treatment of adolescent depressionand its influence oncognitivefunction.Method:Atotalof8O patients with adolescentdepression admitted to the Second People's Hospitalof Guizhou Provincefrom January 2O22 to July 2024 were selected.All the research subjects were evenly divided into two groups bythe random number table method, namely the control group ( n =40,treated with Fluoxetine) and the observation group( n =40,treated with Fluoxetine combined with biofeedback therapy).Both before and afterthe treatment,the HAMD was used to assessthe severity of depression in the patients,and the Wisconsin card sorting test (WCST) wasused to evaluate the cognitive function of the patients.The clinical efficacy of thetwo groups was observed.Result: After treatment,the HAMD scores of both groups decreased significantly,and that of the observation group was lower than thatof the control group,the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05).In the WCST tests after treatment in both groups,the number of completed classfications increased, while the number of incorrect responses,persistent erors and non-persistent errors decreased,the improvementof each result inthe observation group was more obvious than thatin the control group,the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). The curative effect of the observation group was better thanthat of thecontrol group,thedifferencewas statisticallysignificant ( P <0.05).Conclusion: The combination of Fluoxetine and biofeedback therapy has a beter effect on the treatment of adolescent depression, which can improve the clinical efficacy,the degree of depression and cognitive function of patients.
