Efficacy of Xionggui Jiaoai Decoction Combined with Guizhi Fuling Pills in the Treatment of Dysmenorrhea Caused by Adenomyosis/WANG Meng.//Medical Innovation of China，2025，22（19）： 063- 067

[Abstract]Objective：To investigate the therapeutic efect of Xionggui Jiaoai Decoction in combination with GuizhiFulingPillsforthe treatmentofdysmenorrheacaused byadenomyosis.Method：Atotal of86 patients withadenomyosisadmitted toNingyang County Hospitalof Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to March 2024 were selected as the research objects for retrospective analysis.According to diferent treatment plans， theyweredivided into the observation group（ n =45） and the control group （n=41）.The control group was treated withthe Levonorgestrel Intrauterine System.Onthe basis of the control group，the observation group wascombined withXionggui Jiaoai Decoction+GuizhiFulingPills.The therapeuticeffects，clinicalsymptom-related indicators， serum sex hormones and adverse drug reactions of the two groups were compared. Result： The total efective rate of treatment in theobservation group was higher than that in thecontrol group，the diference was statistically significant （ P <0.05）.After the treatment，the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores，dysmenorrhea scores and menstrual volume scores of both groups decreased，the menstrual period was shortened，and those of the observation group were beter，the menstrual cycles of both groups were prolonged，and the observation group was longer，the differenceswere statistically significant （ P <0.05）.After the treatment， luteinizing hormone and folliclestimulating hormone inboth groups decreased，and were even lower intheobservation group，estradiolinboth groups increased，and was even higher in the observation group，the diffrences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）. The incidence of adverse drug reactions in the observation group was lower than thatin the control group，but the difference was not statistically significant （P>0.05 ）. Conclusion： The use of Xiongui Jiaoai Decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pils as an adjunct therapy in patients with endometriosis significantly improves treatmentoutcomes， alleviates clinical symptoms，improves serum hormone levels，and demonstrates high safety.
