[Abstract]Objective： To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） characteristic nursing interventionbasedon4C theory in patients with stroke，and to explore its influenceon patients'neurological function and daily living ability.Method： A total of 8O patients with stroke who admited to Yichun People's Hospital from January to December 2O23 were selected，and they were divided into two groups according to random number method，with 4O cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing，and the observation group was received TCM characteristic nursing based on 4C theory. The TCM symptom score，limb function， neurological functionand daily living ability were compared between two groups.Result： Compared with before nursing，the scores of fatigue，hemiplegia，numbnessand walking instability in both groups after nursing were decreased，and thoseintheobservationgroupwerelower thanthoseinthecontrol group，thediferences werestatisticalysignificant （ P <0.05）.Compared with before nursing，the Fugl-Meyer assessment scale （FMA）scores and Barthel index （BI） of both groups after1month，3and6months of nursing were increased，andthose intheobservationgroup were higher than those in the control group，the differences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）. Compared with before nursing， the modified Rankin scale （mRS）scores ofboth groups after1 month，3and6months of nursing were decreased，and thoseintheobservation groupwerelower thanthoseinthecontrol group，thediferences werestatisticallsignificant （ P <0.05）.Conclusion： TCM characteristic nursing based on4C theorycan alleviate clinical symptoms of patients with stroke，improve neurological function，daily living ability and limb function.
