Design and Application of Automatic Cutting Parameter Setting Program in CNC Programming Based on Siemens NX Secondary Development

Abstract： With the continuous development of mechanical procesing technology，CNC programming plays an increasingly important role inmoder manufacturing.However，intheNX CAMCNCprogramming process，seting cuing parametersisatdiousandrucaltask.htaditionalmanualinputmethodforutigprametersisifcient，heavilyeliant on programmers'experience，making itdiffcult toensureparameterationalityandstandardization.Thiscaneasilycausequality fluctuations in the same batch of parts and makes it hard toaccumulate and reuse enterpriseprocess knowledge.This paper proposesasolution basedon SiemensNXsecondarydevelopmenttechnology.Byestablishingalocaldatabaseoftoolcuting parametersandcombiningthefunctionsprovidedbySiemensNXsecondarydevelopmenttolNX/OpenAPI，automaticeting of toolutingparameters isachieved.This methodsignificantlyimproves programmingeficiencyand procesingquality， providing an effective and reliable solution for the intelligence of CNC programming.
