5G Millimeter-wave 2×2 Array Antenna Based on Field-pairCancellation Decoupling

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of mutual coupling in millimeter-wave high-density arry antennas, a 2×2 microstrip patcharray antena basedon field-pair cancelation decoupling technology is proposed.By embeddingarectangularslotted resonantstructurebetweenadjacentunits,thedesignexcitesananti-phase induced electricfieldtoachieveelectromagnetic energydestructive interference,therebysignificantlyimprovingtheisolationoftheunit.Theantennaadoptsanear-coupled feedand1-to-4T-junctionnetwork,whichefectivelyexpandsthebandwidthandenancestheintegrationcapability.The simulation results show that the impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 24.82~27.42GHz ,therelative bandwidth is 10.0% and the matching is good. In the working frequency band,the gain is maintained above 7.5dBi ,the cross polarization level is significantlyduced,andtheradiationcharacteristicsareexcellent.Thisschemeprovidesanefectivedecouplingpathfor milimeter-wavehighlyintegratedarrayantennas,whichissuitableforcommunicationsystems withstrictrequirementsfor broadband and miniaturization.
