Designand Implementation of Intelligent Pedometer Based on FPGA

Abstract: Aiming at the application scenario of wearable motion detection,a wearable walking step counting system based on FPGA-SoC and gyroscope sensor is designed.The system uses FPGA to realize the minimum system of E902 RISC-V processorasthemaincontroler,andcollects three-axisaccelerationdatainrealtime through MPU6o50sensor. Inordertoimprovethedataqalityfirstlytheoriginalaccelerationsignalisfilteredbymeanfiltertoeliminatenoise interference.Secondly,the peak-valey detectionalgorithm isused toanalyze the gaitcharacteristicsand implements the real-time judgmentof the walking state.The experimental results showthatthe system has excelent real-time performance andhigh stepaccuracyandcan acurately identify the numberof walking steps.This design gives fullplay tothe parallel processing abilityofFPGA-SoC,combined withthe low power consumptioncharacteristicsof RISC-Vprocessor,provides aneffcient hardware solution for wearable motion monitoring equipment.Thesystem hasacompactstructureandasimple andreliableimplementationmethod.Itissuitablefordailymotionmonitoring scenariosandhasgoodpracticalvalueand application prospects.
