Research on Body Mass Index Prediction Based on Multiple Linear Regression Model

Abstract：Efective preventionofobesityisessentialfor maintainingpersonal healthandreducing theriskof chronic diseasessuchasdiabetesandcardiovasculardiseases.Inthisstudy，a MultipleLinearRegresionmodel isused toexplorethe multi-dimensionalfactors afectingobesityandconstruct a predictionmodel.Byintegratingkey indicators suchas gender，age， height，weightandoverweightstatusoffamilymembers，thecorelationbetweenvariousfactorsandthedegreeofobesityis analyzed，andthecoredivingfactorsafectingobesityarerevealed.Teresultssowthatthemodelcanfectivelycapurethe coreinfluencing pateofBodyMassIndex （BMI），andthepredictedvalueisconsistent withtheoveralltrendoftheactual value，especiallinthelowBMrange.Thisstudyprovidesascientificbsis foroptimizingpublic healthinterventionprograms and helps to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of obesity prevention and control.
