Abstract： Aiming at the problem that the description format of network protocol is not uniform and the interaction logic is fuzzy，this paper proposes a standardized description paradigm based on XML.By analyzing the development and testing requirements，acomplete structuredruleisdesigned.The the messge format adopts the XProtocol/XNode/XFieldthre-tier nested structure todefinethefeldatributes.Interactionbehaviordescribes statetransitionandtimelogicthrough XLink/XStep. As verified through experiments on IPv4 and TCP，the XML description file is compact （IPv4 is only 15KB ），and the parsing performance of the automaticallygenerated decoder is consistent with Wireshark，with an accuracyrateof 100% .Theresearch alsodiscusses thechallengesof performanceoptimizationandsecurityenhancement inlarge-scaleapplications，and proposes a hierarchical parsingand permissioncontrol scheme，which provides normativesupport forprotocol development，testing and cross-platform adaptation，and reduces design complexity.
