Abstract: Aiming at the requirements of multi-band,simple structureand high isolation ofMIMO antenna for wireless intellgentterminals,thispaperstudiesandproposesabroadbandMMOantennadesignfor5Gsmartphones.Theantenauses metal plate slotting technology to achieve dual-band resonance.It is fed from the bottom through a 50Ω coaxial line,and eight L-shaped patch units withmirrorsymmetryare excited toradiate the slots to forman 8-Element MIMOantenna.The antenna covers5GN77/N78/N79bands( 3.3~4.2 GHz, 3.3~3.8 GHz, 4.4~5.0GHzΩ .Through the optimization of three-dimensional electromagneticsimulationsoftwareHFSSandthetestofphysicalproduction,theresultsshowthattheretumlossoftheantea in the target frequency band is less than -6dB ,theisolation between ports is better than -11.7 dB,and the Envelope Correlation Coeficient (ECC)is lessthan 0.06, which mets the performance requirements of5Gcommunicationsystem. Compared withthe traditionalantea,theanteadesignhasthecharacteristicsofsimplestructureandwidefrequencyband,whichisstablefor the compact space requirements of modern smartphones.
