Abstract：Clarifyingthefactorsafectingtheevolutionofruralsetlementsisthebasisforoptimizingthespatialpaterofural setements.TakingWuyuanCountyastheresearcharea，thisstudyusesmethodssuchaslandscapepateindexandhotandcoldspot analysis torevealteevolutioncharacteristicsofuralsetlementsinWuyanCountyandussault-salegeogapicallywehted regresionmodeltoaleteacstigteevolutioofrralsetemets.esultssotatealsettemetsestudy areashowsigcantsptialterogeeityracteisticofdeseindledsarseoudseinouthdae north"，showingigatsatialpoiieoelaionndngggustesiingoasteete;teuliale geographicallyweightedregressonmodelsowsthebestperformaceinexplaiingteevolutionofruralsetlements.Theoleofeach factorhasobviousspatialnon-statioarityandsaleectdiereesTheroleofteineliefandpopulationensityisatteicro scale，andgraproducismesaleactesatomedalandealthaecilindvilgendeplaleate globalscale.Thespatialotimizationofuralsetlementsshouldconsiderthescaleeffectofinfuencingfactorsandbuildamulti-scale differentiated regulation system.
