[Abstract]Cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)arethemostimportantandabundantstromalcelsinthetumormicroenvironment(TME),exhibitinghighheterogeneityandparticipatingextensivelyinvariousbiologicalbehaviorsoftumors.Singlecel sequencing(sRNA-seq)isanovel technologythatalows genomic,transcriptomicandepigeneticanalysisatthesinglecellevel, which provides unprecedented advantages foradeepunderstandingofTME,CAFsubtypes,and thefunctionofspecific CAF subpopulations.Thisarticlebrieflyintroduces theprinciplesandapplicationofscRNA-seq,withafocus onsummarizingrecntadvances on its use for studying the role of CAFs in triple-negative breast cancer.
